Bordom CAN Kill... (Naro & Mistu; PM to join)

Narora waited for a few minutes, nearly 20, before the girls came back into the room.

Narora was leaning back against the couch, and was staring at a cat outside of the window that was making hissing noises at his Sharingan. Narora actually had half the mind to hiss back, but was caught by Ruka and Mistukai.

He coughed –damn he was doing that a lot now– and hid his red face by looking down at the table for a moment, before he looked back up. “So, is everything ok?” He asked both of them, but more to Ruka.

Ruka nodded and put a hand on Mistukai's shoulder. “Hai, everything's fine. She was just exhausted somehow.” She pointed back at Narora, a mock-stubborn look in her eye, “You were just overreacting, like you always do!”

Narora blinked and looked away with a blush of embarrassment. “I was only worried...” he mumbled so both girls could hear him. It was actually kind of funny, sing him pout like that.

Mitsukai walked out of the room almost awkwardly before walking over to Narora and grinning down at him. "Thank you. Thank you for everything." She said with another grin, and a wink.

She looked at Ruka. "Thank you for checking to see if anything was wrong. His worrying was starting to affect what his actions were doing. He seemed to be flushing red a lot." She said while giving Narora a worried glance and frown.

Narora nodded, and successfully suppressed another blush at her wink, but was unable to do so again when she mentioned his red face in a passing tense.

Ruka sent a glance to her old teammate, and a knowing smirk came across her face as Narora chose to ignore her look and just stared at the wall.

Ruka sent Mistukai a smile. “Oh, that's just Narora...” she walked in closer to the girl and whispered to her, but Narora could hear her anyway. “He over reacts a lot, but he's really sweet. He worries about complete strangers, and it breaks his heart when he can't help them...”

Narora sent her a look, his coal eyes seeming to boar into Ruka, but his red face just made him look strange.

Ruka giggled at his look, and looked back to Mistukai. “I'll walk you home. You passed my inspection, but, I still want to make sure you get there with no mistakes. Doctors code and all that...” She rounded on Narora when he moved to stand, and pointed at him. “No. You stay. Mist-chan need another girl to talk to.”

Narora grumbled, and seemed to pout, as he crossed his arms and waited in his friends home. It wasn't the first time... He'd been over and staied with Ruka for months at a time before he got his own place...

Mitsukai nodded to Ruka but still seemed slightly nervous. She had never talked with people much, let alone girls and guys her age, so she was still in the beginning stages of talking on personal terms, and letting close to her. She looked at Narora, slightly frightened but waved to him anyway, silently saying good-bye because she didn't trust her own voice.

She walked out the door, watching her step and turned around to wait for Ruka.

Narora caught the girl's look and wave, and smiled sweetly back, offering a raised hand, but didn't wave it around.

Ruka walked over with the girl, her sandals already on, and held the door open for the girl as she motioned for her to go first. As Ruka followed behind Mistukai, she sent Narora a smile before shutting the door, cutting off Narora's response to it.

Outside of the house, Ruka gave a beautiful smile to Mistukai, and began to walk side-by-side with her to her own house. Quite the silent walk...

Back inside the house, Narora had taken to staring at a photo. It was of four people. The first was a brown haired man, probably in his late 30s or mid 40s. He stood behind three of the younger people on the picture, his large, muscular hands around the two other male's in the picture's shoulders. He dwarfed them all at 6'4”, and his blue eyes stunned those looking at them.

The second was a male with a stern face. The markings on his cheek displayed him as an Inuzuka Clan member, one of the few clans that had began to dwindle down in numbers. He just seemed to stare at the Camera, arms crossed and showing little effort in holding up the larger man's arm around his shoulder. This man was placed on the far right.

Mistukai smiled back to Ruka awkwardly. She wanted to talk to the woman, but it was hard since she never talked to people. She stayed in her own bubble, liking the isolation and joy of herself.

Ruka, not one to stay quite for very long, quickly struck up conversation, on a topic that she felt that both her and Mistukai had been on or are on.

“... you know... I used to like Narora... a lot more than a friend...” she suddenly said, her face graced with a small smile. She looked over to Mistukai, “We were lovers once...” She finished, leaving the story paused, so as to see if Mistukai was listening and get her to ask for more...

Back at the house with Narora, he was still looking at the photo, when he came to Ruka.

She looked similar to what she does now. Same red hair, same style of clothing, but they were a lighter shade of red when the picture was taken. She was standing in the middle of the picture, leaning somewhat on the fourth figure, Narora himself.

Narora on there looked slightly different. His hair was shorter then, and wasn't as straight and kept as it was now. He felt his smile was infectious. His left hand was thrown over Ruka's shoulders, while he held up his right hand in a 'thumbs up' sign to the camera, paying no mind to the (obviously their Sensei's) arm slung over his shoulder like the Inuzuka boy's own shoulder.

Yeah... those were the good old days. He set the photo down, and sighed. Tamashi... Inuzuka Tamashi was their third Teammates name... or was...

Mitsukai nodded her head and looked forward, slightly confused as to whhy the woman was telling her this. She looked at Ruka. "Why are you telling me this? You don't, have to." She said quietly, not wanting to be rude.

She looked back ahead of her trying to find her house. 'This is so awkward.' She thought with a quiet sigh.

Ruka turned slightly red, and waved one hand out in front of her, motioning between the both of them. “Just trying to strike up conversation.” She let out a nervous laugh. "But, something tells me you might be in that situation soon too." She said matter-of-factly.
Back at the House once more, Narora is nowhere to be seen. The picture he was looking at was set before the coffee table where he had finished with it, and left it there as he ran out of the house...

Mitsukai's eyes widened and she looked at Ruka. "Wh-what?! N-no, I can't, it's not...what?!" She stuttered while shaking her head vigorously. She never trusted people, she never wanted to, and she never thought she'd fall for someone.

She looked at the ground again in thought, disagreeing completely. "How-how do you know?" She whispered with a frown.

Ruka looks back at the girl out of the corner of her eye, and gives her a grin. “I'm a Medi-nin. That requires a little bit of psychology to learn to get your patients to co-operate with you.” She once more answered in that tone.

She brought herself before the girl, pausing their walk to point at her. “Naro-kun has tried and failed to bring a great many of people to see me, or even to let them help him. You're the only one that has actually listened to him and let him help you.”

But after that, she waved her arm up to the air, pointing to the sky. “But that's nothing special. No, what really did it...” She pointed and motioned mostly to her facial expressions. “The subtle movements, the smiles, and the wink. Playfulness that you claim to not have because you don't like others helping you –and I got that last part from your obvious actions in going to a private doctor– that all points to at least some small amount of affection. Even if, its just 'Hero Worship' or something along those lines.”

She fell back in step besides Mistukai, and continued on their way.

Mitsukai shook her head. "It's not 'Her Worship' it's....I don't know." She said sighing in defeat. She looked up at Ruka helplessly. "I don't know anything about communication, with people. You and Narora are the only two I really talk to." she said pathetically.


She wanted to actually talk, but she seemed so awkward and out of place, it was hard for her to.

Ruka let out a soft giggle, “Well, that's up for you to decide. Hero Worship can be mistaken for quite a bit of other things these days...”

“And about talking to people, and all of that. Well, you just have to remember, it's all in your head...” She tapped the girl's forehead for good measure. “And even then, it's ok to be the way you are, I can't, and nobody else either, change that about you.”

“You have to do it on your own.” She finished, a bright smile on her face.

Then she turned to look forward again, ignoring the ANBU that was sending her a look. “But, back to the subject about Narora, it really is up to you what to feel. If you like him, good. If not, I'm sure he doesn't mind that either. Narora keeps an open mind most of the time. All he really needs in the world is a good friend to talk to on...” she paused here, and her smile dropped from her face.

She sighed. “Listen... nearly 2 years ago to this date, Narora and I lost our third teammate. He was always an outcast, and never really spoke to us...” Here she pulled out a picture from her chest, and it was the Inuzuka boy from before. “It was our first S-rank mission, and though they wouldn't show it, Narora, Sensei, and Tamashi were worried about it.”

She put the photo back, and continued. “Well, things went bad, and we lost Tamashi and Zaii-sensei... That actually caused me and Narora to drift apart and eventually, we stopped seeing each other...”

“Me with my Kage duties... and Narora with his constant training...” The Kage part was probably the thing that would set Mistukai off on a loop...

Mitsukai reeled, she shook her head and blinked away confuseion before looking at Ruka in surprise. This woman was the kuraikage? Dang, that explains a lot. She sighed to herself and looked infront of herself, nodding for the woman to continue the story.

As Mistukai's house came into view, and Ruka only knew this because she was a Kage and had looked at personal records of the girl in secret while the Diagnostic Jutsu was being used –just the skill of a Kage– she finished her tail:

“Eventually, Narora and I got back into contact with each other. We agreed that seeing each other wasn't for the best of our intentions, so we broke it off and remained as close as possible. I suppose we just didn't want to face the fact that our Teammates were gone...”

She paused outside of Mistukai's house. “...I think... somewhere down inside Narora's heart... he still blames himself for Zaii-sensei and Tamashi-kun's death...” She then, probably getting it from being around Narora, gave her a grin, abet slightly forced, “To tell you the truth, I kind of do too.”

But here, she stopped and gave a slight bow to the girl. “Well, here we are, and I only know because of your records,” here she paused to explain how she had done it with a combination of ANBU and a Kage Bushin, “I'll leave you to it then. It was nice talking to you, Mistu-chan.”

Mitsukai nodded and wave "It was nice talking with you." she sa d to the woman with a small smile.

She walked in and closed the door to her home, another smile on her face. It was an interesting day indeed
