| R a n k s This has been long put off, but rightly needed. - Academy Student & Genin:
For all new Characters (I'm probably starting to sound like a broken record, eh?) you may start as either an Academy Student, or Genin. No higher is permitted (unless with FOUNDER approval). If you want to get higher in rank, fill out the requirements.
- Chuunin:
Obtaining It: First, thou must be Genin... No, seriously, you need to be a Genin before you can make this. To advance to this rank, is rather simple. In the Chuunin exams... do your best. We will have an amount of higher ranked Members, the Kage, and maybe a Staffer or two grading you. There is a template below with which you can get an idea of what we're looking for. Meet the requirements, and you can make Chuunin. Now, as for what Chuunin can do? Well, you're no longer confined to a cell of 3 (if your in one...). You lead any and all missions you go on with teams (unless another Chuunin+ is with you). Respect comes with this rank as well. (You get a few bonuses as well, such as +5,000 EXP, 3 Jutsu Slot (E-A), and 1 Weapon Slot (D-A) )
- Tokubetsu Jounin & Jounin:
Obtaining It: First of all, you can be really, any rank. However, it is EXTREMELY rare that a Genin is promoted to Jounin straight away (Field experience would be needed, and an idea of how to lead a team). Academy Students will NEVER be promoted straight to this rank. They're only promotion is to Genin, and from there, anything at all. To gain this rank, you can either ask to have members (of Jounin or higher rank) recommend you to your Kage and a Staffer. Should both decide that you deserved it, you will be promoted, and gain the benefits (+7,000 EXP, 3 Jutsu Slot (E-A), 1 Jutsu Slot (S), 1 Weapon Slot (S) ).The second way to earn this, is through specializing in one area, but that would only grant you a Tokubetsu Jounin rank. If you can reach Jounin level in one area (Nin/Gen/Tai-Jutsu, Speed or Perception = 45+), then you can ask to be granted this rank. You'll be higher than a Chuunin, but Jounin still outrank you. Benefits: (+5,000 EXP, 1 Jutsu Slot (S), 1 Weapon Slot (D-A) )
- ANBU/Oinin:
Obtaining It: Apply. Once you are Genin level, you are welcome to apply to either the ANBU or Oinin. HOWEVER, your Status Attributes must all be AT LEAST 40+. Any Rank is welcome, and once you pass a test set up by either the ANBU Taichou or Head Oinin, then you can begin missions with them. Benefits: (+7,500 EXP, 3 Jutsu Slot (E-A), 2 Jutsu Slot (S), 2 Weapon Slot (S) )
- Kage:
Obtaining It: Any rank above Genin can instantly jump to this rank. You must have either: Kage, Staffer & Jounin Approval or (in the case that your Kage Died/Inactive/other)Jounin & Staffer Approval Benefits: (+10,000 EXP, 3 Jutsu Slot (E-A), 3 Jutsu Slot (S), 2 Weapon Slot (S) )
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND that any of these ranks can be changed spontaneously, as we are just starting the site. Check back regularly (or when a PM is sent out to you) to see if requirements or such have changed. - Chuunin Exam Template:
Post Length (10 pts): The longer your post, the more points you get. You MUST get at least 200 words per post for the full 10 points. (Going way past this earns you an extra 5 pts).Creativity (20 pts): Try to be creative. Use your surroundings to your advantage, combine techniques and weapons and the like to form new tactics. Simple words: Be as unique as possible.Spelling (30 pts): Try to make sure your spelling is right. (-1 pt) is taken off for every mistake. This INCLUDES spelling Japanese names and phrases wrong. If you use them: Use. Them. Right. (Ask if you don't know if you are using them right, anybody will be willing to help.)Enjoyment (40 pts): Try to let the people watching/grading enjoy the fight. This goes back to creativity. Show them something good or something they haven't seen before. Hell, show them a couple somethings!Scoring/Grading: 100-105: S (Promotion)93-100: A (Promotion)85-92: B (Promotion)75-84: C 65-74: D 0-64: F - Code:

All Graders will fill this out, and all scores will be averaged. Final grade will determine promotion. Your Exam can be retaken, but ONLY ONCE. If you are not promoted by the second time, you must wait until the Chuunin Exams begin again. | |

L 2 = Language is permitted, but cannot be used to abuse other members, only other member's CHARACTERS.
S 2 = Sexual Acts are permitted, but must be placed within the appropriate area.
V 3 = Violence is permitted, and there are no restrains as to what you can post or say (Within the two above rules).

Well, it's Mid Summer now in Mukougakure, Nayamagakure, and Hanegakure! The sun is just boiling down on the ANBU's backs as they stand guard over the Village. Most Genin are out training with their Sensei though, the hot sun making it seem like it would 'Build Character'.
The Chuunin have it easy, as most are either away on missions where there's a lot more shade, water, or down south where all the snow is. Some are even teaching indoors! Lucky...
Brrr! It's winter down in Arashigakure and Honougakure! This is the time of year when Arashi gets quite a few snowstorms, well, if your below the cloud! Above on the upper platform, there's no snow, but there IS quite a wind chill!!
Down in Honou, because of the proximity of the Volcano, temperatures don't drop too much down here, if any, they only drop by 5oF!
