Masato is mostly indifferent. He acts like he is unaffected by his surroundings and doesn't take much of anything personal. Because of this, he usually misses out on things like people's emotions but sometimes, it helps him understand them more. His apathy tends to annoy people, with the exception of his superiors, because he usually does what he is told. He isn't very determined to do much of anything except what he is told to do, mostly because of the way he was brought up. His family was constantly arguing and at odds, and to deal with it, he completely cut himself off from it. He did everything his parents told him to do without question to avoid problems, and when they passed, he developed a dark aspect to his personality. Also, after their deaths, the village took their place and he is quite loyal to the village. It is all he knows, at this time.
His parents understood the ways of the ninja world, and because of this, they trained their son, not only physically, but mentally as well. He was taught to kill, and since he was apathetic, it never bothered him. His parents believed that aspect of his personality would make him a great shinobi, but they didn't realize that his apathy was a result of the constant fighting from the family, and their acceptance of it only lead him to develop some issues. The most important of these issues is his temper. While he doesn't show that he feels, if someone or something were to push him enough, he'd snap and do something completely irrational. The second issue, is his lack of motivation. He is always willing to die, even for pointless reasons. He doesn't see the value of life. A third thing is his lack of trust. Being raised in a family that constantly deceived each other caused him to not trust anyone, and because of this, he usually tries to shoulder his burdens alone.
- Goals:
Masato doesn't have any goals as of yet, the only thing he sees in his future is himself serving his village until he finally dies and is released from his curse of a life.
- Fears:
Masato has only one fear, and that is the fear of the unknown. It doesn't make sense to a lot of people, but if he were to explain it, "People or situations don't scare you, but the fact that you don't know what they are capable of scares you and makes you believe that you are scared of them." Most people don't understand it when he says it, but he truly believes that the only thing to fear is what one doesn't know.

Well, it's Mid Summer now in Mukougakure, Nayamagakure, and Hanegakure! The sun is just boiling down on the ANBU's backs as they stand guard over the Village. Most Genin are out training with their Sensei though, the hot sun making it seem like it would 'Build Character'.
The Chuunin have it easy, as most are either away on missions where there's a lot more shade, water, or down south where all the snow is. Some are even teaching indoors! Lucky...
Brrr! It's winter down in Arashigakure and Honougakure! This is the time of year when Arashi gets quite a few snowstorms, well, if your below the cloud! Above on the upper platform, there's no snow, but there IS quite a wind chill!!
Down in Honou, because of the proximity of the Volcano, temperatures don't drop too much down here, if any, they only drop by 5oF!
